No! We accept all experience levels for our programs. That is why we include the travel advisor training course called KORE, so we are all on the same page. In addition, you will have support from our team and access to training tools.

Yes—you can upgrade your program. Any changes made to your existing plan would begin at the beginning of the following quarter. Client bookings made under the original plan will remain part of that program. Once a program switch is completed, all new client bookings will follow the upgraded plan's guidelines.

Yes—you can only downgrade annually.

Yes—Vacations in Paradise serves as your host agency in either program you choose. With the VIP Host Agency Program, you have the added benefit of operating under the Vacations in Paradise brand and receiving company-generated leads. With the Independent Host Agency Program, you maintain more independence in how you build your business. *A travel agent host agency is an umbrella organization that partners with independent, home-based travel agents, giving them access to back-end support, technology, and industry credentials like IATA or CLIA, in exchange for fees or commission splits.

No, independent contractors with Vacations in Paradise are required to provide their own E&O Insurance.

Yes, there is a technology fee. For the Independent Host Agency Program, the tech fee is $20 per month which includes a CRM system. For the VIP Hosted Agency Program, the tech fee is $95 per month which includes email domain, phone extension, CRM System, and an itinerary building system. *Participants in the Independent Host Agency Program may have additional business expenses outside of Vacations in Paradise, as you are operating your own independent travel business.

You must enter your sale into our CRM reporting system for your commission to be processed. Paid commissions will be processed biweekly.

Yes—we have established processes for both programs. Advisors may qualify for higher commission opportunities based on proven sales under Vacations in Paradise, which will include a program fee increase.
