CONSUMER DISCLOSURE NOTICE [PART OF CONTRACT OF SERVICE]
PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE. IT CONSTITUTES PART OF YOUR CONTRACT FOR TRAVEL RELATED SERVICES.
PLEASE CHECK YOUR DOCUMENTS WHEN YOU RECEIVE THEM. CALL THE TRAVEL AGENCY IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS.
Vacations In Paradise (herein "Travel Agency") is acting as a mere agent for SUPPLIERS (identified on the accompanying documents) in selling travel-related accepting services, or in accepting reservations or bookings for services that are not directly supplied by this Travel Agency (such as air and ground transportation, hotel accommodations, meals, tours, cruises, etc.). Travel Agency, therefore, shall not be responsible for breach of contract, failure to comply with any laws such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), or any intentional or negligent actions or omissions on the part of such suppliers, which result in any loss, damage, delay, inconvenience or injury to travelers or travelers' companions or group members.
Unless the term "guaranteed" is specifically stated in writing on your tickets, invoice, or reservation itinerary, Travel Agency does not guarantee any of such supplier's rates, bookings, reservations, connections, scheduling, or handling of baggage or other personal effects.
Travelers have done due diligence, are aware of the quality of the hotel accommodations chosen, and agree that Vacations In Paradise will not be responsible if they are not satisfied.
PASSPORTS: Everyone, including children and infants, MUST have a VALID passport to travel internationally (not Passport Card). Failure to comply will result in denial of boarding, no refund, no exceptions (out of the USA).

Information on how to obtain a passport and/or visa can be found at http://www.travel.state.gov. Vacations In Paradise, LLC is NOT responsible for passports in ANY way. Passports are required to be valid for 6 months from your return date. PASSPORT CARDS ARE NOT VALID FOR TRAVEL INTERNATIONALLY VIA AIR!
HONEYMOON & ANNIVERSARY TRAVELERS: You MUST bring a copy of your marriage certificate to qualify for any complimentary honeymoon/anniversary package (photo copy is recommended). Failure to have such proof of marriage will result in the resort denying these complimentary privileges (if applicable). PLEASE notify your Vacations In Paradise, LLC agent if you are celebrating a Honeymoon or Anniversary so that they can annotate this in your reservation. Typically resorts will honor these packages up to 30 days before or after your honeymoon/anniversary date.
INVOICES: Review this invoice for accuracy. The actual reservation and pricing for your trip is determined by the Resort/Tour Operator and this total payment will be due to the supplier regardless of this invoicing. Invoice discrepancies must be adjusted within 10 days of final pay.
CHANGES TO RESERVATIONS: ANY changes made to your existing room reservation are subject to the current rates, promotions, and terms at the time of change. There is a minimum fee of $50 per person for any changes made to a reservation.
FINAL PAYMENT: The final payment MUST be received NO LATER THAN 45 days prior to departure unless otherwise indicated. Final payments are not automatically charged. Please note your calendar of this final payment date as reminders may not be sent, however we try to send reminders about a week before it’s due. You must go to info@explorevip.com on the date you'd like the payment to be posted. Vacations In Paradise, LLC is not responsible for cancellations due to payments made after this date. Late fees will apply.

CREDIT CARDS: Your signed charge authorization is a binding agreement for charging your card, and as such you waive any right to a chargeback in the case of trip delays, changes, or cancellations for any cause (excepting fraud), including a force majeure event, and you agree to refund policies and procedures as outlined in the terms and conditions of the suppliers operating components of your trip. In the event that you attempt without our authorization to chargeback, reverse, or recollect a trip payment already made, we reserve the right to collect all additional costs, fees, and expenses associated with such chargeback, reversal, or recollection including, without limitation, attorney fee
CANCELLATION PENALTIES: Pertaining to the room portion of your trip; deposits are nonrefundable, once your reservation is made a $150 nonrefundable penalty will be assessed in addition to any additional resort or supplier penalties. The aforementioned is per person or entire room canceling (so if 1 person within the room cancels these same rules apply for that person). Regarding Airline tickets: if Vacations In Paradise, LLC booked your tickets, they are 100% non- refundable and subject to individual airline penalties/fees (see insurance below).
LATE FEES: Final payments not received prior to the due date above will incur a $25 per person late fee. All reservations are subject to cancellation and hotel penalties as described above if final payment is not received on the due date. Late fees are not covered by the travel insurance and are always non-refundable.
All the above would be protected with the optional Travel Insurance with the exception of late fees. If you do not have insurance – natural disasters (such as hurricanes), cancellations for ANY reason (medical/personal emergencies, cancelation of the wedding, etc.) do not relieve you from these penalties. ONLY the Travel Insurance will ensure you coverage. All cancellations must be received in writing.
CANCEL FOR ANY REASON TRAVEL INSURANCE: It is the traveler’s responsibility to protect their purchases and Travel Insurance is strongly recommended. Travelers are advised to obtain appropriate insurance coverage against these risks; information is available through this Travel Agency regarding travel insurance. Traveler's retention of tickets, reservations, or bookings after issuance shall constitute a consent to the above and an agreement on his/her part to convey the contents hereto to his/her travel companions or group members.

Cancel for Any Reason Insurance can only be purchased at the time your reservation is made and is non refundable; it cannot be added after the initial trip deposit is received. Cancel for Any Reason Insurance starts at $69 and up per adult, and starts at $50 and up per child (2 to 12yrs of age at time of travel). Your Vacations In Paradise, LLC Agent will quote your insurance policy cost upon initial trip quote.

Cancel for Any Reason Insurance will allow you to cancel for any reason up to the morning of departure (prior to flight departure) with full refund (minus insurance policy cost). Insurance does NOT cover items you purchase outside Vacations In Paradise, LLC (i.e. airfare, tours, excursions etc). Please Note: if you initially reserve a room only package & add airfare to the package through Vacations In Paradise, LLC at a later date your cancellation for any reason insurance policy cost will be adjusted to accommodate the revised total trip package cost at that time.

This plan does not include increased rates associated with a change in the number of individuals occupying a room. If the number of individuals occupying a room changes, the remaining travelers will be responsible for any additional costs incurred as a result of the change in the per-person occupancy rate.Travel insurance protects your investment.
TRAVELING WITH CHILDREN: Children under 18 years of age not traveling with both parents or legal guardian(s) may need to present a notarized letter from the absent parent/guardian granting permission to travel outside the United States and provide emergency medical care if necessary. Vacations In Paradise, LLC is not responsible for lack of compliance to provide proper documentation to airport authorities. It is the responsibility of the traveler & the traveler’s parents/guardians to provide proper documentation to airport authorities.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: Travel documents will be sent to you no later than ten (10) days prior to departure date. Please read through these documents immediately; misprints, misspellings, incorrect dates etc. are not the responsibility of Vacations In Paradise, LLC Included in your travel documents (if airfare is purchased through Vacations In Paradise, LLC ) are airline electronic ticket receipts (proof of purchase, not boarding passes or actual tickets). Boarding passes are printed at the time of check in; online with the airline directly, or at the airport when showing passport & checking in luggage. It is very important that you take your travel documents with you in addition to passports and a major credit card for any baggage fees that may apply.
HOTEL FEES: Certain mandatory hotel-imposed charges, including but not limited to, daily resort, facility fees or parking fees, etc. may be applicable to your stay and payable directly to the hotel operator check-out from the property .

BAGGAGE FEES: Due to continual changes in airline baggage policies and fees, inquire with your airline's website for up-to-date fees & information before you travel. Fees charged at the airport may be higher than prepaid baggage fees. Vacations In Paradise, LLC is NOT responsible for additional fees incurred for baggage or seating. BAGGAGE FEES ARE NOT PART OF AN ALL-INCLUSIVE PACKAGE!

AIRLINE SCHEDULE CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS: Occasionally airlines change flight schedules, & may even cancel flights entirely. These changes are beyond Vacations In Paradise, LLC 's control. In the event that such a situation occur; Vacations In Paradise, LLC will do its very best to assist you with finding the best possible alternate option(s). If the flight time change is minor (2 hours or less) the airline will automatically make the change (airline policies/rules entitle them to legally do so). Vacations In Paradise, LLC will notify you of major changes. Please Note: there may be additional costs to re-book a new flight should the airline cancel or make a major change to your original flight itinerary. Vacations In Paradise, LLC is NOT responsible for any additional costs or fees imposed by the airlines. Seat assignments are also subject to change due to airline changes within their network. It is the responsibility of the passenger to check for last minute airline flight time changes within 24 hours of departure. Vacations In Paradise, LLC is not responsible for changes that may occur within 24 hours of original flight departure time.
RECONFIRM YOUR FLIGHTS: Vacations In Paradise, LLC advises you personally re-confirm your flight schedule within 24 hours prior to departure directly with the airline in case of any last minute changes or delays. Most airlines allow you to check in online 24 hours prior to departure using the “Record Locator'' (found in your Vacations In Paradise, LLC documents)
Federal law prohibits the carriage of certain hazardous materials aboard aircraft in your luggage or on your person and could result in a fine. A violation can result in five years' imprisonment and penalties of $250,000 or more (49 U.S.C. 5124). Hazardous materials include explosives, compressed gasses, flammable liquids and solids, oxidizers, poisons, corrosives and radioactive materials. Examples: Paints, lighter fluid, fireworks, tear gasses, oxygen bottles, and radio-pharmaceuticals. There are special exceptions for small quantities (up to 70 ounces total) of medicinal and toilet articles carried in your luggage and certain smoking materials carried on your person. For further information contact your airline representative.
Prices are subject to increase prior to the time you make full payment for your air-inclusive tour. Prices are not subject to increase after you make full payment, except for charges resulting from increased government imposed taxes or fees.
AIRLINE CHECK IN: Please check in with your airline at the airport no later than two (2) hours prior to scheduled flight departure time.
RESORT CHECK IN: Check-in time at most resorts is 3:00pm (local time). If you arrive prior to 3:00pm your room may not be ready. The resort will store your luggage in a secure location on property so you may start enjoying your vacation without delay. Change into something more comfortable and enjoy a nice lunch, swim in the pool, walk along the beach, etc. until you are notified that your room accommodation is ready for check in.
DRESS CODE: ** MEN ** - Please be advised that some resort restaurants may require long pants, collared shirt, &
Closed-toe shoes. Please pack accordingly.
RISKS, CANCELLATIONS AND INSURANCE: Traveler assumes complete and full responsibility for, and hereby releases Vacations In Paradise,LLC from, any duty of checking and verifying any and all passport, visa, vaccination, or other entry requirements of each destination, and all safety and security conditions of such destinations, during the length of the proposed travel. However, we specifically recommend that U. S. Citizens traveling to Canada, Mexico or the Caribbean, do so with a valid U. S. Passport. For information concerning possible dangers at international destinations, contact the Travel Advisory Section of the U. S. State Department, (202) 647-5225, or access the State-Department's on-line travel advisory service http://travel.state.gov/travel/warnings.html. For medical information, call the U. S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC), (404) 332-4559 or log on to www.cdc.gov./travel.
Notice - Criminal Convictions: We are seeing denials into countries for prior criminal convictions. Travelers may be denied entry into the chosen destination as a result of any prior criminal convictions. It is the travelers responsibility to check with the appropriate embassy to assess each situation. Passengers traveling without proper documentation or meeting destination requirements may be denied boarding or entry to an international destination and will not be entitled to a refund.
Vacations In Paradise, LLC shall not be responsible for any injuries, losses or damages in connection with terrorist activities, social or labor unrest, mechanical or structural integrity of air, sea, and ground transportation and accommodations, diseases, local laws, terrorists acts, climatic conditions, Acts of God, delays, changes or cancellation of travel due to weather conditions, hotel services, accidents or health related problems before or while in-transit to (e.g., an accident on the way to a tour), during, and after a tour, or any other actions, omissions, or conditions outside of Vacations In Paradise’s,LLC control.

If travel plans are delayed or canceled for any reason there will be no refunds issued by Vacations In Paradise, LLC There will be no refunds for cancellations made 90 days or less before departure, including cancellations due to actual or threatened terrorist/health events. There will be no refunds due to fear of travel from actual or threatened terrorists/health events.

By embarking upon his/her travel, the traveler voluntarily assumes all risks involved in such travel, whether expected or unexpected. Traveler is hereby warned of the above risks as well as possible travel industry bankruptcies, medical, climatic disruptions, and the possibility traveler may be unable to travel as scheduled because of personal emergency.

California law requires certain sellers of travel to have a trust account or bond. This business has a trust account.
Upon cancellation of the transportation or travel services, where the passenger is not at fault and has not canceled in violation of any terms and conditions previously clearly and conspicuously disclosed and agreed to by the passenger, all sums paid to the seller of travel for services not provided will be promptly paid to the passenger, unless the passenger advises the seller of travel in writing, after cancellation. This provision does not apply where the seller of travel has remitted the payment to another registered wholesale seller of travel or a carrier, without obtaining a refund, and where the wholesaler or provider defaults in providing the agreed-upon transportation or service. In this situation, the seller of travel must provide the passenger with a written statement accompanied by bank records establishing the disbursement of the payment, and if disbursed to a wholesale seller of travel, proof of current registration.
IMPORTANT NOTICES:
On January 15, 2016 the US CDC upgraded their travel notice for Zika virus to Alert Level 2 (practice enhanced precautions). Zika virus is
transmitted by mosquitoes, and symptoms include fever, headache, red eyes, rash, and joint pain. The illness is usually mild and lasts between
2-7 days. However, the alert specifically references women who are pregnant or who are trying to become pregnant. (http://www.cdc.gov/zika/
pregnancy/question-answers.html). The notice currently only affects specific cruises calling in to certain Caribbean, Central America, and South
American countries. However, the situation is evolving so please regularly check the affected areas via the following links: http://wwwnc.cdc.gov/
travel/notices and http://www.paho.org/hq/. Guests are reminded to take enhanced precautions against biting insects by covering exposed skin,

COVID:
An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and Guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.
